Decals Contest (Pillar Decals - class activity) Y5
Props: card board, colored papers, etc. (class may exhaust all possible materials they can use)
Instructions: 5 classes would be assigned different books that they have to picture it (recreate) the setting of the story through the decals. Finished decals would be posted on the library beams as decors for the book week.
Door Hanger (Reading open doors to everything!) Y2
Props: special paper, printable open and closed drawings
Instructions:They have to create their own door hangers
Dr. Seuss Mask Y1
Props: paper plate, hat template, cat whisk, bow tie, Popsicle sticks
Instructions: Create a mask of Dr. Seuss. They can be as creative the way how they wanted to make Dr. Seuss like.

Each class would be represented by four (4) students to form a team.

It’s a relay game. Teams would be given Task Cards with questions regarding the library which they need to accomplish within the 30-minute allotted time

Canvas bags would be given for each team where they would put all the collected books (answers) to the tasks given.

Students would roam inside the library but they have to stick together as a team. One point (1) will be deducted to the team that has to be reminded to slow down or be quiet for several times.

Library staff will facilitate and scores the teams. The team with the most number of points at the quickest time wins the game. In case of tie, 1 FINAL TASK would be given and whoever gets to have the correct answer at the quickest time would be declared as the winner.
